When a high-profile international-bank client of the U.S. attorney general's former law firm gets in trouble, and Democrat Party operatives implicated in a complicated mortgage-fraud scheme need to be shielded, it's good to have powerful friends in high places.
Good that is until documents start leaking, the scheme unravels and the story is exposed.
Attorney General Eric Holder – already under fire for the Fast and Furious gun-running fiasco and for refusing to hold the New Black Panther Party to account for acts of voter intimidation – is about to find himself neck deep in a major scandal.
