O'Malley plays up Obama's failed record while Maryland job losses mount

Maryland's unemployment numbers rose for the third straight month in May, continuing a startling trend as the state braces for federal cutbacks in the defense industry. According to the state's figures, 13,500 jobs have been lost since May.
While Governor O'Malley has been doing the news talk show circuit the past few months, extolling the achievements of President Obama, and deriding Republicans across the country, Maryland's unemployment numbers continued to slide downward. Not surprisingly, there seems to be a correlation between Governor O'Malley's recent rock star status within the Democratic party, and Maryland's unemployment numbers.
Appearing on the May 27 edition of NBC's Meet The Press, Governor O'Malley gave an interesting response to host David Gregory's inquiry regarding a possible 2016 presidential run. ...continues...
