Home Invader in Possession of Multiple Handguns, Assault Rifle and a Grenade Sought

Baltimore County Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Lavar Maurice Rich, 32, last known address in the 7200-block of Park Heights Avenue, Baltimore. He is currently believed to be in possession of six handguns, an SKS assault rifle, and a hand grenade. Lavar Rich is wanted for the August 19 home invasion that occurred in the 6800-block of Westridge Road, Milford Mill.
Lavar Rich also goes by the name “Maurice” and is described as a black male, 6’2” tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, and may have a goatee and beard.
On August 19 at approximately 12:30 a.m., Baltimore County Police were dispatched to the 6800-block of Westridge Road, Milford Mill for a home invasion robbery. The victim told police that two armed men forced their way into his residence. The men then asked him for his money and guns. The victim was assaulted by the suspects and he eventually told them where he kept the guns. The suspects removed gold chains from around the victim’s neck and left the house with the weapons and jewelry. The investigation has led police to obtain an arrest warrant for armed robbery, first-degree assault, and theft against Lavar Maurice Rich.
Baltimore County Police have also arrested and charged the below suspects in this case:
- Clifford Lee Johnson, 23, of the 3200-block of W. Belvedere Avenue, Baltimore
- Ltova Tamara Hazel, 21, of the 1700-block of E. 30th Street, Baltimore
- Lria Whitney Hazel, 19, of the 3700-block of Tenth Street, Brooklyn
- Yvonne Pizarro, 42, of the 6900-block of Rockfield Road, Milford Mill
