A Pelosi Quacks: GOP Attempt To Gut Public Health "Slush Fund" Is "Another Assault On Women's Health"

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) says the Republican plan to extend low student loan rates by a funding cut to the public health fund created by the Affordable Care Act. Pelosi calls this an "assault on women's health."
“We won’t have [the interest rate] go from 3.4 to 6.8 but in order to pay for it we’re going to make an assault on women’s health,” Pelosi said. “Make another assault on women’s health. Continue our assault on women’s health.”
This fund is labeled by the right as a "slush fund" because it gives the administration very few limits on how the money can be spent.
