California's Budget Dance Endemic of Most States

California's continued budget chaos is endemic of local and state governments mismanagement throughout the country; cut services, raise taxes and grow the bureaucracy. Typical government response and solution and completely shortsighted. The only way to successfully plug budget drains would be to reduce the size of the currently entrenched bureaucratic machine which provides limited and shrinking services to taxpayers. Knee-jerk reactions by politicians and bureaucrats with self-preservation schemes can not solve an internal budget crisis by cutting services which will only exacerbate the problem; with the same number of overvalued and overpaid bureaucrats running programs, with less responsibility in providing a true public service. The machine remains in force and the public

GOP Chart Course Of Democratic Seizure of Health Care

House Republicans recently presented an organizational chart detailing the bureaucratic boondoggle of the House Democrats' $1.5 trillion Obamacare plan that relies on unprecedented tax hikes and will provide limited or no coverage for millions of current private insurance policy holders. Proponents of nationalized health care are deluding themselves with the misguided machinations of Obama, Reid and Pelosi.

Fox News highlighted the presentation by House Leaders that explains the chart:

The key to health care reform is in tort reform, reduce the threat of bankruptcy and costs will plummet. Lawyers won't like it, profits will be reduced, but that ultimately is the answer.

Sotomayor Wins RINO Backers after Lightweight Hearings

Three RINO's in favor of Sotomayor as Supreme Court Judge does nothing to assuage the reservations of conservatives that saw the dog and pony show and found a candidate with two distinct personalities. The trick is to figure out which part of her personality will emerge while sitting on the bench. The point is nobody knows, not even Sotomayer and that is cause for concern in this rubber stamp appointment. Split personalities have nothing to do with race or gender.

OMG! Sara Palin is Losing Her Hair...

...in someones reality challenged imagination. Palin Derangement Syndrome continues, Conservatives4Palin counters...

In a July 12th hit piece published on the front page of the New York Times, reporters Jim Rutenberg and Serge Kovaleski (assisted by Kim Severson and William Yardley in Alaska) made the following claim:

Friends worried that she appeared anxious and underweight. Her hair had thinned to the point where she needed emergency help from her hairdresser and close friend, Jessica Steele.

Kennedy Takes ObamaCare On A Ride Across A Bridge

On the 40th anniversary of Chappaquiddick the question is whether Kennedy's rationing scheme will submerge ObamaCare in the dark waters under the bridge, permanently.

Newsweek Managing Editor Daniel Klaidman explains that his magazine decided to ask Sen. Ted Kennedy to author a cover piece on health care, because "his absence during this historic debate

Specious Study Links Prenatal Air Polution to Lower IQs in Kids Years Later

Study group consisted of low-income woman with limited education. The 48 hour experiment did not include obvious factors contributing to learning difficulties in children including family environment, lack of eduction of the parents, lack of access to prenatal care, lack of pre-school opportunities and a host of more salient causes too numerous to list. Although everyone would agree, foul air has its issues, the global warming nuts will use this study to push for extreme legislation, (cap and tax) that will have no effect on inner-city pollution issues or childrens health.

[...] The results are in a study of 249 children of New York
